My WFPB Diet: Day 247–Happy New Year!

 I’m starting my new year with resolutions:

  1. Recover from my hernia surgery safely and fully (It’s been 5 days)
  2. Continue my WFPB Lifestyle and Exercise to reach my goal weight by March 1st (185 lbs) and by June 1st (155 lbs) 
  3. Get to a 10k+ steps a day weekly average after my post-surgery recovery by March 1st
  4. Sustain metabolic health (6.8% of Americans) to have a much lower risk of all the chronic diseases affecting Americans today:
    • Fasting glucose level < 100 mg/dl — 92
    • Triglyceride level < 150 mg/dl — 68
    • HDL cholesterol > 40 mg/dl — 40
    • Waist circumference < 40 inches — 37
    • Blood pressure < 120/85 — 112/82
